The United States Embassy has warned American citizens in Tanzania on the high risk of Corona virus in the country. In an advisory shared via email, the Embassy warns that the risk of contracting the virus is very high in Daresalaam. It also notes that the Tanzanian government is not forthcoming with information on the true extent of the virus in the country.  The embassy also claims that the hospitals in the country are overwhelmed and seeking medical care could be very difficult. It has advised its staff and citizens to stay at home unless going out to buy food. Giving the ministry's daily update on new infections following the testing of 777 new samples, Dr Aman said 12 more people had tested positive for the coronavirus.
