Nairobi Governor Mike sonko escapes death Narrowly

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko can count himself lucky after narrowly escaping death in Machakos County on Friday. This is after a speeding lorry carrying sand lost control and hit his official vehicle as his convoy exited the Muua Hills Home on Thursday. The lorry with registration number KBY 938L lost control and spilled sand on the entire road . Hundreds of people turned up at the Governor’s residence to catch a glimpse of what had happened The driver of the lorry disappeared after the accident. We can confidently report that Governor Sonko was not hurt during the carnage and that police have taken over investigations. The accident happens at a time when Sonko is at loggerheads with the National Government over the management of Nairobi County. The Interior Ministry recently withdrew part of Sonko’s security team in a move meant to force him to soften his stance on the management of the county. Kenyan Airplane crash in somalia, 6 confirmed dead

A Kenyan aircraft with six crew members, four passengers and 2 pilots has been blown up in Somalia. The airplane was hit by a rocket propelled grenade (RPG) in Somalia while almost on the run-way and ready to land. The crash left all the six people in the plane dead. The incident of the attack has not yet been revealed but sources indicate the grenade was fired by Somalia forces by mistake. The incidence was first confirmed by Somalia media houses. The aircraft which was registered under African Express, registration number 5Y AXO was preparing for landing at Bardale town when it was hit with the Propelled grenade allegedly fired by the Ethiopian forces . The incidence has been termed as a mistake and no more details have been given so far.
