Leading mobile money transfer service provider Safaricom has notified partners and clients of a scheduled Mpesa services outage, informing partners that customers will receive error messages. The giant telco in an e-mail sent to business partners and developers on Wednesday afternoon indicated that the outage is meant to permit for the standard maintenance services by its softaware engineers. Mpesa services shall be affected for two hours on Saturday June 6, 2020 starting 0100hrs to 0300hrs when the systems aren't on such a lot demand by its customers.
