The total Number of Coronavirus cases in the world has hit 4,032,867. And killing more than 276000 persons , while as at now more 1.35 million patients have recovered as per 9th,  may,  2020 statistics.

United states still remains the most hit country with 1,322,164 confirmed positive cases and with over 78,000 deaths, USA remains the country with highest mortality rate since the first case was reported. There has been 223749 recoveries reported in the USA. President Donald Trump reiterating his stand about China involvement in the spread of Coronavirus virus. What he terms as 'Wuhan virus'. Most states are still observing lockdowns but there have been numerous calls to easen on such directives. It remains to be seen the next move from the world superpower to fully control the spread which keeps on increasing each day .

United Kingdom has recorded 211,364 positive Coronavirus cases, with 31,241 deaths from Coronavirus. UK is among the most hit countries worldwide With 1,559 fatal cases, the NHS has done impressively good to offer health care. The NHS rescued Boris Johnson from the ICU. One of the positive feedbacks in the fight against Coronavirus.

Germany has recorded 170,588 positive Coronavirus cases. With only 7510 deaths from Coronavirus, Germany can be applauded for their Medical care that has seen them reduce the number of deaths despite the huge positive cases reported. Recently, Germany Chancellor Markel announced that Bundesliga football league has a greenlight to start. Spain recorded 2,666 new positive cases in the last 24 hours to take their total number to 262,783 positive Coronavirus cases, the highest in Europe as per now. With 26,478 deaths arising from Coronavirus, Spain is among the most hit nation in the World. Lockdown is still being enhanced.

Italy has recorded 217,187 positive Coronavirus cases. With 99,023 recovered cases it indicates Italy which was the epicenter of spread of Coronavirus in Europe is recovering well. They have 87,961 active Coronavirus cases with 30,201 fatality cases.

Kenya recorded 14 new cases of Coronavirus to take their number to 621 positive cases from 29,430 tested samples. There have been 202 recoveries with active cases at 390. Health minister Mutahi kagwe announced complete lockdown of Mombasa Old Town and eastleigh in Nairobi.
