Nurse commits suicide due to Coronavirus stress

Florida nurse, 32, is found dead in his car from a suspected overdose hours after telling his friend he was struggling to cope with the coronavirus pandemic source  of article A  Florida  nurse who had been struggling to cope with the  coronavirus  pandemic was found dead in his car from a suspected drug overdose, his family has revealed.   William Coddington, 32, was found dead in a hotel parking lot in Deerfield Beach, Florida on the morning of April 25.   Coddington worked at the intensive care unit at JFK Medical Center in West Palm Beach and had been trying to cope with the trauma of treating patients with the deadly virus.   His mother Carolyn told Reuters her son was rattled by seeing so many patients his age die and was scared about how little personal protective equipment he had.  She said he son had nightmares about alarms going off on ventilators in the ICU and suffered from the social isolation imposed by the pandemic. Deadly Fire in Moscow Hospital treating coronavirus patients

A fire at a Moscow hospital treating people infected by the new coronavirus killed one patient and forced the evacuation of about 200 others . News reports said the fire at the facility in the northern part of the city has been extinguished. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed reports that a patient had died and said those evacuated would be transferred to other hospitals. It was not clear how many of the evacuees were suffering from COVID-19. More to follow...
