The kenya Government has today reported the death of a elderly man who was infected with the deadly corona virus.
This is after reporting complete healing of another patient yesterday by the health minister Hon Mutahi Kagwe, today there were three more new cases reported hiking the number of the COVID-19 patients to 31.
The president H.E Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday during his press conference ordered a total curfew of the kenyan citizens from 7pm to 5am as one of the ways to counter this deadly virus from spreading, he further allocated 10bn kenyan shillings to the elderly and the orphans for upkeep during these hard moments, he also reduced salaries of the senior employees , that is himself, the deputy president by 80% and the cabinet secretaries by 30% respectively.
Kenyans are in fear and grieve after the closure of businesses which have been experienced in many counties, the government has not shown any signs of atleast catering for the common mwananchi's basic needs such as food.
Many kenyans have defied the orders of closing their businesses forcing the county governments to apply force using the police force to make sure they adhere to the rules set aside.
With the cases of corona virus infection increasing some leaders are worried that the nation might be hit hard and are asking the president to declare total lockdown of the country for some time.
