How to prevent MPESA received Money from being reversed.

Many payments nowadays are completed through MPESA as a measure set to spread or getting infected with Covid-19. Safaricom company abolished the transfer charges temporarily for amounts of up to Ksh 1,000 to facilitate and enhance this measure. Physical cash can carry the virus from one person to another, reason why it is being discouraged.

However, many businesses have experienced a lot of payment reversals and are left wondering who to trust with this mode of payment. So to ensure that your payment is not reversed after the customer leaves your shop, ensure that they delete the MPESA message of your payment from their phones.

This is because this is the message used to effect the reversal or request for the reversal process.It is the message they send to Safaricom for the reversal to be done. Do not become a victim of MPESA reversal any more. It is that simple. People have become malicious due to the hard financial times caused by Covid-19 whereas others are simply criminals .

Another way to avoid these reversals is by keeping your phone on and close to you. Safaricom will call you before they do the reversal to confirm that in deed you are aware and agreeable to the reversal. Go on now and lock out the criminals from your MPESA account.

Your hard-earned money should stay with you until you decide to spend it the best way you know-how. Criminals should never get close to your money. You can also report them to Safaricom so that the amount can be deducted from their accounts once they credit them.
