COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli on Friday held a consultative meeting with a number of leaders from the Larger Western Kenya region.
Among those that attended include Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, his Bungoma counterpart Wycliffe Wangamati, Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala among many other leaders.
The meeting aimed toward discussing the political way forward for the larger Western region amidst the continued political cards before 2022 General Elections.
However, what has taken the web by storm is that the video of Atwoli along side the Western leaders dancing to Rhumba music and taking liquor amidst the tough guidelines put in situ to arrest the spread of Covid-19
.
Worse of is that the incontrovertible fact that the leaders managed to access Atwoli's home that's in Kajiado county yet cessation of movement in out of Nairobi has been imposed.
The video footage got the eye of Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who called on the govt to open churches now that folks were ready to congregate as they take liquor.
"If you'll open the bars then we will open churches. Please tuwache Ukora. Open the CHURCHES!" tweeted Murkomen.
Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya went on twitter to congratulate Atwoli in his endorsement as the Luhyas spokesperson.
